Living Smart courses are set to run in Terms 1 & 2 in Perth and Adelaide. See WA courses in South Perth, Vic Park, South Fremantle (to be listed soon) and Cockburn and many in Adelaide (Gawler in Term 1 and Charles Sturt, Mitcham, Holdfast Bay and Marion in Term 2). If you want to register your interest for an upcoming course, email here. Living Smart in Gawler: Term 1

Course Description:

Through engaging activities, guest speaker appearances, and a fun outing, participants will delve into ten Living Smart sustainability topics and leave the course armed with practical ways to help themselves and their community live more sustainably.

This course is brought to you by the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resources Management Board, and the Gawler Natural Resource Centre through a NRM Community Achiever grant. Facilitated by Rachel Brdanovic and Hayley Tindle

Living Smart in Vic Park, WA Term 2

Course Description:
Living Smart is returning to the Town of Victoria Park on Thursday 20th April!

The Living Smart course runs for 7 weeks on Thursday evenings from 6.30pm until 9pm, beginning on Thursday 20th April 2017.

Term 2: Cockburn Living Smart in Success

Course Description:

Have you wondered how you can make your life more sustainable? Do you want to respond positively to issues like climate change? Do you want to meet people who care about the earth like you do?

Living Smart is a 7-week course (plus an additional field trip) that will inspire you to make sustainable changes in your own home with your family. The course is designed with the needs of participants in mind and includes topic such as Waste, Living Simply, Power, Water, Gardening . . . and more. This course is brought to you by City of Cockburn and facilitated by Shani Graham and Tim Darby, the most experienced Living Smart facilitators in Australia.

We haven’t set new training dates yet, but if you’re interested contact trainers Ecoburbia with any queries or to express interest in training next year.

Award winning educators, Shani Graham and Tim Darby, from Ecoburbia, deliver a two-day LS facilitator training over two Sundays. The course costs $220, plus a shared lunch.

On Day One we will look at the skills and information needed to facilitate Living Smart. Day Two will involve sharing ideas and activities for your course, before looking at the essential policy requirements.
